Tumaini Mission Hospital Equipment Update

Dear Friends,

Every week, Tumaini Mission Hospital (TMH) is becoming a place of greater healing, dignity, and hope — and your generosity is a driving force behind it. Because of your gifts, several critical equipment needs have already been met, and the impact is unmistakable.

In Radiology, new diagnostic machines mean patients no longer travel long distances for ECGs or ultrasounds. Faster, clearer results are helping families receive timely care right here at home.

In the Theatre Unit (Operating room), lifesaving and routine surgeries are now being performed locally sparing patients the cost, time, and hardship of seeking treatment elsewhere.

In the Newborn Intensive Care Unit, underweight babies are receiving the incubation and specialized monitoring they need to survive and thrive. New mothers speak with deep gratitude for care that is now available closer to home.

Across the hospital, a new digital ERP system is improving patient flow, reducing wait times, and strengthening coordination so every person is treated with efficiency and compassion.

Your partnership makes real progress possible. It changes real lives. It gives real hope.

As we look ahead, we are preparing for the next major step: equipping the hospital with a CT scan machine so families can receive advanced diagnostic care without leaving their community. This will not only save lives but also strengthen TMH’s long‑term sustainability.

Right now, when someone needs a CT scan, they must travel hours to a distant hospital, often while in pain, frightened, and already unwell. They wait in long queues, hoping to be seen that day, knowing that every delay postpones diagnosis and treatment. It is exhausting. It is discouraging. And for some, it is simply too much.

A CT scan machine at Tumaini Mission Hospital would change everything.

Families could receive care immediately. Treatment could begin sooner. Lives could be saved. And TMH would take a major step toward long‑term sustainability as more private insurance carriers partner with the hospital.

This is the impact we long to make and we cannot do it without you. Will you help bring this life‑saving capability to Tumaini Mission Hospital?

Thank you for walking with us as we continue building a hospital that reflects God’s love and serves families with excellence. Your generosity is transforming healthcare in this region, one patient at a time.

With gratitude,

The Tumaini Team
