Support the Future of Stensilas, Sharlet or Saumu!

We are excited to share some fun details about 3 of our "S" kids that need YOU!  Each month we bring you a few children that have lost their sponsors and need someone to step in as they navigate their future.  Please consider stepping alongside one of them today!  Meet STENSILAS, SHARLET and SAUMU!

Meet Stensilas, a 13-year-old boy with unparalleled ambition who aspires to be a military pilot in the future. He is currently in grade 7 and is committed to excelling in his studies. He enjoys playing football with his friends during his free time.

Stensilas is the 3rd born in a family of four children. He lives with his parents, two brothers, and one sister. His older siblings are advancing in their education, with his eldest brother in Form 3 and his sister in Form 2. However, supporting three children in education has placed a significant financial burden on their father, who is a casual laborer in masonry and works tirelessly to provide for the family.

Stensilas' ambitious dream of becoming a pilot and serving his country can only be realized with the right support for his educational needs. By stepping up to sponsor Stensilas, you will play a crucial role in turning his dream into a reality and uplifting the status of his family and community as well.

This is Sharlet, an 18-year-old and currently in her first year pursuing a Grade III certificate course in hairdressing and beauty therapy. She aspires to be an exceptional beautician and makeup artist upon completing her studies. Sharlet exemplifies resilience and determination, having lost both parents and now living under the guardianship of her older brother, along with her 3 brothers and 1 sister. Her eldest brother relies on hawking and selling mandazi (pastries), a business that is unpredictable and yields extremely low returns.
Despite these challenges, Sharlet remains optimistic. She plans to complete her Grade III certification by December this year and intends to study for both Grade II and Grade I in the following 2 years to gain sufficient skills and expertise to start and run her own business in the future.
We welcome your partnership and financial support to help Sharlet achieve her dream. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in providing short-term support for her entire course, which will take 2.5 years to complete.

Saumu is a 17-year-old, multi-talented young girl currently in grade 9. She lives with her mother, two siblings, and her elderly grandmother, who requires special care due to her ailing health. Saumu is determined to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor and is putting great effort into her studies to achieve this goal. As the firstborn in her family, she is deeply committed to setting an example for her younger siblings, demonstrating the power of resilience and ambition despite life's challenges.
Her faith in the Lord gives her comfort and strength. She expresses her gratitude to God through music. Saumu, a gifted and aspiring musician, has collaborated with her friends to compose their first song titled Mwisho wa Dunia (The End of the World). When not immersed in her studies or music, she enjoys playing volleyball with her schoolmates and helping her family by tilling their small piece of land, especially during the rainy season.
We kindly appeal to your generosity in supporting Saumu on her educational journey. By assisting her, you will help this brilliant young girl realize her dream of becoming a doctor and a musician, and in turn bring hope and inspiration to her family and community at large.
