What does $1,920 mean to you?
Maybe it’s a new phone. A weekend getaway. A year of streaming subscriptions. But in Kenya, $1,920—or roughly 247,000 Kenyan shillings—is the full cost of one year of college, including required housing. And for most families in rural Kenya—earning less than $7 a day—it’s an impossible dream.
At Tumaini International, we’re working to change that.
This year, our goal is bold: Send our 2025 high school graduates to college.
Because when one student goes to college, it doesn’t just change their life. It lifts their entire family out of poverty. It empowers their community. It creates a ripple effect of hope, leadership, and transformation.
You can be part of that ripple.
🎓 Join us at our Hope for the Future Gala 📅 Saturday, September 27 at 5:30 PM 📍 Anaheim Hills Golf Club 🎟️ Reserve your seat or table now.
Can’t attend? Make a gift that sends a student to college.
Whether you give $100 or $1,920 or more, your contribution becomes a catalyst for change. Every gift matters. Every gift is needed. Let’s turn everyday spending into extraordinary impact.
Together, we can give hope for the future.
With gratitude,
