Dear Tumaini Family,
This month, Tumaini Mission Hospital carried hope to the coastal region of Kolewa, where nine villages now received access to reliable healthcare through our medical outreach. In a place where poverty affects nearly 72% of the population, our medical staff came together to serve with compassion and strength.
At the Wilkins Center, 453 patients were seen during this two day outreach. Visitors from Valley Christian Church joined hands with our team, offering emotional and spiritual support. Pastor Mike and church members prayed with patients — for mothers grieving miscarriages, for families burdened by provision, for students weighed down by school pressures. Alongside treatment for diabetes, high blood pressure, bilazia, and cancer, patients left uplifted in spirit and comforted in their heart.
For many in this coastal region, reliable healthcare is simply not available. The needs are serious, and the outreach was a lifeline. Thanks to the generosity of Valley Christian Church and donors who helped raise funds, Tumaini was able to bring healing and hope where it is desperately needed.
We are deeply grateful for the staff and volunteers who poured themselves out for this marginalized community. Their dedication reminds us that healing is not only about medicine, but about dignity, hope, and love.
