Last week, my field team and I had the joy of visiting 8-year-old Zipporah. Our adventure began at her school, where we had a delightful conversation with her principal. Her teacher then joined us as we made our way to Zipporah’s home. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Zipporah’s grandmother, who greeted us with a big smile and a firm handshake! Zipporah is in second grade, and her teacher shared that she has a true passion for learning. She lives in a modest home with her grandmother, two siblings, and other extended family members.
Sadly, Zipporah is one of thirteen children who have recently lost their sponsors. At our organization, we are dedicated to providing hope and support to every child, regardless of their circumstances. We use our hope funds—thanks to your generous contributions—to ensure these children receive monthly assistance until new sponsors are found.
As we approach the festive season, we want to ensure that these thirteen children don’t miss out on the joy of gift-giving. We plan to provide them with vouchers, allowing them to choose what they need—be it food, clothing, or other essentials. I’m reaching out to ask you to prayerfully consider making a special gift to help these children. Remember, no amount is too small, but I encourage you to consider a gift of $25 or more, so they can truly enjoy this special time of year.
If you’re able to help, please send your donations TODAY to ensure these children receive their vouchers in time. The last day to gift a voucher is October 25th.
Additionally, if you’ve been considering sponsoring a vulnerable child, this is a perfect opportunity to provide tangible hope beyond the holiday season. Thank you for your incredible generosity, which has brought smiles and hope to thousands of vulnerable children and their families. Let’s make a difference together once again!
