When we visited her last summer, Perpetual was busy with clients at her salon station, just a few miles outside the city of Machakos. Although she comes across as a bit shy, Perpetual is a very focused young woman, who knows her craft well as demonstrated by the number of clients who strolled into her stall when we were vising her. After graduating from a vocational college, Perpetual set up her own business and is doing well enough to support her, her daughter, and Juliana, who is sponsored through Tumaini. Indeed, Perpetual serves as her sister’s guardian since they do not have parents. Please watch Perpetual’s inspiring success story in this short video.
Perpetual’s success story is only possible because someone invested in her through the completion of her college education. We can support such students through our alumni fund. We have hundreds of young girls and boys like Perpetual in our program who are yearning to attend vocational and university institutions after high school. If you would like to give any end-of-year donations, please consider our alumni fund, and make that donation TODAY.
Thank you for your incredible support throughout the year. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year ahead.
