An Opportunity to Help a Family in Need

An Opportunity to Help a Family in Need

Cendric

When our staff visited him this week at his plain home, Grandfather James was wearing a big smile. He was hopeful that Tumaini had heard his cry and had come to assist him. James and his equally aging wife are guardians to their three orphaned grandsons, Brian (14 years old), Cendric (12 years old), and Alphic (8 years old). A few months earlier, James had traveled half a day from his village to reach our offices in Masii and share about his desperate situation. Their daughter Jackline had passed away three years ago leaving behind the three boys. James remembers the pain that death caused the whole family. ”My daughter succumbed to cancer after battling the illness for a long time. We sold nearly everything for her medication and now we do not have anything to support our grandchildren with school expenses and other basic needs. We need help.” The family live on a piece of land and although they work hard on the land, they are still destitute subsistence farmers because they rely on the rain that is not dependable.

Brian

James’s family is in desperate need of tangible hope. We offer a wonderful opportunity to provide sponsorship for BrianCendric, and Alphic, or just one of the boys. For only $38 a month you can provide support for a vulnerable child. If you would like to offer support for all or one of these boys, please go click the child or contact us TODAY.

Alphic

Thank you for caring. As always, I am eternally indebted to you for your love and support.

Sincerely,
