You may have heard of a mission trip where participants go with a specific purpose to do something for the greater good of others, but what is a vision trip? Great Question!

Tumaini encourages donors, child sponsors and others interested in the organization, to come and see the impact we are making.  Seeing and hearing first-hand the personal impact Tumaini has made for one beneficiary can be life changing.

Coming to Kenya and meeting the child you have only known through a few correspondences deepens personal connections. Everyone wants to be seen, known and matter. When sponsored children meet someone from the other side of the world who came to see them and their family, it is both exciting and heartwarming.

When a self-help group is visited by others and praised for their accomplishments and given words of encouragement for work still to be done, it strengthens them during challenging times.

When you stop by Tumaini International Girls High School and find curious and smiling faces peering through classroom windows inviting you to come. in…Go in! Say hello! Ask how the girls’ studies are going. Tell them a little bit about you. Inspire them to dream.
