In less than three months, we launch new services at Tumaini Mission Hospital. I got back from Kenya two weeks ago and everyone is busy trying to make sure that everything is ready for the launch and dedication on June 27th, 2024. The construction crew is working diligently to complete the final pieces. My field team and I are working on the final coordination and hiring the extra critical staff that we will need to provide the services that our sponsored children and the community at large are so eagerly waiting for.

Thank you to those who have signed up to join us in Kenya in June for this milestone event in the history of our organization. Thank you to the medical professionals and other volunteers who will be joining our team on the ground for the two-day medical outreach that will follow immediately after the launch on June 27th & 28th. Thank you to those other churches and teams that will be coming on your vision trips in July as well. Progress is being made!

We have been able to reach this point of the hospital construction because of very generous donations from so many of you. THANK YOU again and again! One of the biggest needs at this stage of the hospital’s completion is the purchase of initial equipment needed by June 27th! It will cost $500,000 to purchase the initial critical equipment. I am both humbled, grateful, and excited to announce that one of our partner families recently donated $200,000 for this need! 

The interior is almost complete and will soon need equipment!
