A Journey of Growth

A Journey of Growth

Dear Tumaini friends,

As we continue celebrating Tumaini’s 25 years, we’re reminded of how faithfully God has grown our healthcare program. What began as a small clinic has expanded step by step — first into a 24/7 medical center with limited inpatient care, and then, in June 2024, into Tumaini Mission Hospital.

Since opening, Tumaini Mission Hospital has expanded its services, its staff, and its reach. Every month, more families walk through the doors seeking care they could never access locally before. Lives are being saved. Hope is being restored. And the community is beginning to trust that quality healthcare can exist close to home.

But there is still a critical gap.

Right now, patients who need a CT scan must travel hours away — often while in pain, afraid, or unable to afford the journey. In this short video, Dr. Chadainya shares why a CT scanner is urgently needed and how it would transform care for thousands of people each year.

A CT scanner isn’t just a piece of equipment — it’s a key part of TMH’s long‑term sustainability plan. As soon as TMH can offer CT scans on‑site, additional local insurance providers will be able to contract with the hospital. That increased revenue means TMH can continue serving families with excellence while moving toward becoming fully self‑sustaining for the future.

If you feel led, you can help bring this lifesaving equipment to Tumaini Mission Hospital.

Thank you for standing with us — for 25 years of hope, healing, and transformation, and for all that is still ahead.

With gratitude,

The Tumaini Team
