Message from the President - Gala 2024

Thank you for joining us for this year’s gala celebrations. Celebrations because it has indeed been   a  milestone  year for Tumaini. Our vision is  to bring God’s hope where there is no hope. We bring hope through the integrated pillars of healthcare, education, and socio-economic development. This year we have especially focused on the healthcare pillar, the launch of Tumaini Mission Hospital. Since our founding in the fall of 2001, we have never launched a project that has the potential to impact as many people as Tumaini Mission Hospital will.  This new facility has undergone several transitions from a small walk-in clinic in 2009 to a comprehensive outpatient facility three years ago  and now to a start of the art, Hospital,  the largest of its kind in the SE region of Kenya. Once fully equipped, this affordable hospital will have the capacity to treat hundreds of thousands of people  annually in the short term and millions in the long term. Our sponsored children will get the best medical care at no cost to them and the communities in the surrounding regions will receive the same service at a highly subsidized cost. 

Tonight, we want to thank and  congratulate you all for your prayers and financial support that have made this achievement possible. Thank you also for your designated donations toward the $1 million goal for this year’s gala toward purchasing equipment. For those of you who are learning about this incredible opportunity, we are asking you to prayerfully consider a donation  or make a 12-month pledge.
